Occasionally, I am forced to wonder about the intelligence of certain people on the internet. For example: Today I received a spam e-mail with the following subject:
She won't keep the eyes of your Submariner watch.
This causes me to ponder two questions:
1) Who wrote this? Now, admittedly, Microsoft Word's grammar checker would have no problem with this sentence. It is entirely reasonable to tell someone that a female (in the pronoun sense) will not be able to maintain possession of the eyes of his (or her, but presumably his) Submariner watch. Nonetheless, I'm willing to bet that that wasn't the intended point of the sentence, but rather to inform the reader that, "She won't be able to keep her eyes off your Submariner watch," thus implying (much like so many other spams I get) that there is something you can buy online to improve your 'standing' with the ladies.
2) Presumably, this e-mail has a target audience. This leads me to wonder: Who responds to e-mails like this? Especially when they come from an e-mail address like "motivatedyw28@deepspacedisc.com", and have a link in the body which says simply, "Haste to visit."
How many dumb people can there really be on the internet?
Oh, by the way, for legal reasons I have to start tracking my readers, so for each of you out there I'm going to need a name, an e-mail address, and - preferably - a credit card number. You can just post them in the comments to this post and I'll take care of the rest. Thanks.

I don't know why you need the credit card number though...
